Stuart’s has a very “home-like” feel from its apple picking to its pumpkin picking. Stuart’s has a bakery with apple cider donuts that can satisfy you just by the smell! I know some other Westchester Moms had mentioned waiting in line at the bakery for up to 30 minutes but it is SO worth it! Apple picking begins September 6th and runs daily from 10AM- 5PM through November. Pumpkins will be available for picking in October. Don’t forget to take a hayride (weekends 11AM- 5PM) around the orchard and end your family trip with a fun picnic to take in the wonders of fall. Be sure to bring cash, as Stuart’s does not accept credit cards!

On weekends, along with pick your own, there is live entertainment. Some have said that the line gets very long in the afternoon, thanks for that tidbit Westchester Moms! During apple season, you can pick your own apples from the middle of August to November. Certain apples will be available for picking, depending on when you come for a visit. The pumpkin picking starts late September until the end of October, This mom’s advice is to go early and beat the crowd; my mom always said the early bird gets the worm!
