Cross County Shopping Center, 8000 Mall Walk, Yonkers, NY
Starting November 13th, come see the brand new 44 foot tall Cross County Christmas Tree for a real NY holiday experience! The sparkling Christmas Tree has an intriguing walk through feature. Adding to the experience, there will be strolling entertainers from stilt walkers to musical performances at the tree throughout the season.
Take advantage of the Holiday Food Truck Market, on The Green lawn, right next to the tree and make a night of it. Food Trucks on The Green lawn are open for lunch and dinner, daily from November 27th to December 24th.
In addition there will be Santa Photos at Cross County Shopping Center. For safety, this year Santa will be featured in a new, custom space that allows for social distancing and a touchless experience. You’ll be able to capture a magical photo of your family inside Santa’s workshop. Face coverings are required for the staff, Santa and all guests. Advance reservations are strongly recommended.
Starting November 27th, families can skate at the Pop-Up Holiday Ice Skating Rink. Guests will be limited per skate session and are required to wear masks. Admission is $10 per person (ages 5 and up) and includes skate rentals and a one-hour session.

Westchester's Winter Wonderland is back this year with a Drive-Thru Light Extravaganza. Unlike prior years where there was skating, rides and circus shows, this year will be an experience from the safety of your car.
Enjoy a festive 1.2-mile drive through Kensico Dam Plaza, filled with dazzling exclusive light displays that will thrill youngsters of all ages. See your favorite holiday characters. Jovial music right on your car radio, wave to Santa and other surprises all seen from the safe and controlled environment of your car.
Tickets are on sale now at wwinterwonderland.com. Open select nights, Friday, November 27th through Sunday, January 3rd! Tickets are available for specific dates and time slots by reservation only.

Back for another year, the annual Grand Holiday Illumination will take place from December 12 until January 3. The Illumination will be free, outdoor, socially distanced and masked. Reservations are required but tickets are not on sale yet. You can check their website for updates.

The Bronx Zoo, 2300 Southern Blvd, The Bronx, NY
The Bronx Zoo’s Holiday Lights, a family-favorite holiday light experience, is returning to the Bronx this year to bring light and joy to the holiday season. The event will take place on select dates from November 20 to January 10 with a WCS member preview November 17-19. Tickets for Holiday Lights must be purchased in advance and are available online.
For safety, this year’s experience will be more spread out to accommodate social distancing and better organized to eliminate bottleneck areas. Even bigger and better this year, the zoo will have nearly 50 more animal lanterns this year and five geographically representative lantern safaris that include species from around the world.
During your safe, and leisurely tour, you can also enjoy holiday-themed music, ice carving demonstrations, costumed characters, stilt walkers, souvenirs, and seasonal sweets like hot chocolate and s’mores.

New this year, let it GLOW at The New York Botanical Garden with an all outdoor experience illuminating NYBG’s landmark landscape and Enid A. Haupt Conservatory. With lots of room to spread out, explore a glowing world of color and light featuring the Haupt Conservatory as the centerpiece—its iconic exterior a glittering canvas. Washes of brilliant colors, thousands of dazzling lights, and picture-perfect installations fill the Reflecting Pool and enliven surrounding gardens and collections. Open only to members this year (to manage capacity and distancing) the Holiday Train Show is a go! Families can marvel at model trains zipping through an enchanting display of famous New York landmarks—imagine the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Rockefeller Center, and other favorites—each delightfully re-created from natural materials such as birch bark, acorns, and cinnamon sticks. Walk-up tickets are not available, purchase tickets in advance.
