National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that strengthens the relationship between the police, city and community. This helps to make our neighborhoods safer. Each year local communities across the US and beyond hold events to build neighborhood camaraderie on the first Tuesday of August.
In Westchester events will be held this evening, Tuesday, August 2nd, in Greenburgh, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Peekskill, White Plains and Yonkers. Local police departments will be providing entertainment including music, children's activities and food. To learn more about National Night Out visit https://natw.org. |
