Carnivals & Festivals
Summary: Rides, livestock shows, live music, food, audience participation contests including pie and watermelon eating, jugglers, magicians, antique tractor parade and more.
Schedule: September 8th - 11th. Thursday 5 - 10 pm, Friday 4 - 11 pm, Saturday 10 am - 11 pm, Sunday 10 am - 7 pm.

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church Festival
Summary: Annual festival featuring carnival rides and games as well as authentic Greek food, pastries, live music, DJ music and dancing. In addition there will be a flea market and a marketplace with jewelry, clothing, giftware, toys and more.
Schedule: September 8th - 11th. Thursday 6 - 11 pm, Friday 6 pm - 12 am, Saturday 2 pm - 12 am, Sunday 1 - 9 pm.

Yonkers Riverfest
Summary: Now in its 24th year, Riverfest has grown to be the largest free festival in Westchester County. Located at the Waterfront in Downtown Yonkers, over 25,000 visitors will come to see performers, exhibitions and tours, cuisines and more. There will be a separate children's area with live music, bouncy castles, slides, games, a puppet theatre and an animal show.
Schedule: Saturday, September 10th 12 - 7 pm.

Harrison Public Library's Play2Learn Festival
Summary: Free family festival with eight different play zones with hands-on activities, live concerts, food truck, raffles and more. Musical performers include: Armelle for Kids, Chloe's Kids, Groove Band plays Music for Aardvarks, Songs for Seeds and Turtle Dance Music.
Schedule: Saturday, September 10th 11 - 3 pm.

Barton Orchards Harvest Festival
Summary: Fall festival with live music, hayrides, corn maze, haunted house, fun park, petting zoo, apple picking and fireworks.
Schedule: Saturday, September 10th 9 am - 10 pm.

Festival Weekends at Harvest Moon Orchard
Summary: Weekly fall festival with hayrides, apple and pumpkin picking, live music, face painting, pony rides, bouncy castles, BBQ and more.
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, September 10th - October 30th 10 am - 5 pm.

Take Me To The River Music & Arts Festival
Summary: Homegrown music festival celebrating eclectic mix of local, regional and national acts as well as out of the box activities for for kids of all ages.
Schedule: Saturday, September 10th 12 pm - 9 pm

The New York Renaissance Fair
Summary: Enter the world of 16th Century England and enjoy themed games, rides, arts, crafts, food, music and dance. Dress in costume and be part of the experience! This weekend's theme is Pirates.
Schedule: Saturday, September 10th - Sunday, September 11th 10 am - 7 pm (final weekend is October 1st).

Hastings Flea
Summary: A fun family day filled with treats, gifts, entertainment, food and surprises. Includes bounce house, live music for children, face painting and a heartfelt tribute to 9/11 with songs of healing at 2pm.

Bicycle Sundays on the Bronx River Parkway
Summary: During Bicycle Sundays, a portion of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters and strollers.

Reptile Expo
Summary: See thousands of live pet reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids on display and for sale at discounted prices.
