Carnivals & Fairs
Summary: Not to miss! Multi-day festival featuring rides and games, as well as, cuisine and crafts from local restaurants and businesses that celebrate everything local, and most of all, everything Italian! Special events include a DJ Dance Party, Homemade Meatball Contest, Live Music, Homemade Wine Contest, Fireworks (Sunday, October 9th at 9 pm). The Eastchester Columbus Day Parade is Sunday, October 9th at 3:30 pm starting at the Immaculate Conception Chuch, Eastchester.

Peekskill Rotary Horse Show & Country Fair
Summary: 46th Annual Horse Show and Country Fair with attractions including pony and hay rides, craft market, bounce and slide rides for the children, and a “Kountry Kitchen” offering home-baked goods, pumpkins, apples and mums.

Halloween Costume Swap at Greenburgh Nature Center
Summary: Donate your gently used, clean Halloween costumes and in return swap it for a costume to wear this year. Children will be invited to play a spooky critter hide-and-seek recycling game. Costumes for all ages and sizes are appreciated, as well as accessories. Free for members, $5 for non-members.

Scarecrow Making
Summary: 7th annual scarecrow making program where you can create a life-sized scarecrow that will be exhibited and entered in the upcoming scarecrow contest at Harvest Festival, October 15 & 16.
