Westchester’s Winter Wonderland Drive-Thru Holiday Light Extravaganza will return to Kensico Dam Plaza bigger and better than ever with thousands of more lights, magical holiday animations and a live Santa!
Guests will be dazzled and delighted along the 1.2 miles of holiday lights with new Elf Disco, a whimsical display of jubilant children from around the world, a breathtaking Peace on Earth LED display with animated trumpets and angels, and two new thirty-foot snowflakes to light up the largest holiday Christmas tree in Westchester. There is also a bigger and better snowstorm central that the whole family can enjoy right from the warmth and safety of your own car.

Holiday Lights are back this year with a fully outdoor experience. The experience will encompass an expansive area of the zoo and will be include 5 separate lantern safaris representing animals from different geographic regions; the all new larger-than-life Forest of Color; and activity areas spread out across the park. Fan-favorite seasonal activities include professional ice carving demonstrations and competitions, wildlife stilt walkers, Wildlife Theater performances, holiday train rides, seasonal treats, and more.
In addition to the dozens of new animal lanterns, synchronized light shows, and activities, the zoo has added the one-night-only Holiday Cheers event for adults age 21 and older. On December 1, the Holiday Lights experience will feature unlimited food sampling along with select seasonal adult beverages. Of course, the evening will also include all of the Holiday Lights displays, lantern safaris, music and activities. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are expected to sell out. Visit the Farm this holiday season for a magical, one-of-a-kind, walkthrough light experience! Enjoy a dazzling display of light sculptures in partnership with LUMAGICA, renowned for their world-class light installations featured throughout Europe. This will feature the biggest holiday light park in all of Westchester and Putnam counties, right on the apple orchard!
Guests will experience LUMAGICA as a walking tour through a magical forest full of marvelous animal structures and festive decorations, all brilliantly illuminated by over 350,000 LED lights. The orchard will be transformed into a radiant fantasy sure to delight guests of all ages!

Experience the Bethel Woods grounds from the comfort of your car: just turn off your headlights and follow the magical glow. Returning for its second year, NYBG GLOW is an outdoor light experience that will offer more displays to wander through and explore. The beauty of the Garden’s landmark landscape and historic buildings will be breathtakingly illuminated with a newly expanded 1.5-mile colorful experience. NYBG’s iconic sights and buildings will become dramatic, glittering canvases with the Haupt Conservatory and Mertz Library Building as the centerpieces. Washes of brilliant color, thousands of dazzling, energy-efficient LED lights, illuminated plant stories, and whimsical, picture-perfect installations reflect the surrounding gardens and collections, creating a spectacle not to be missed.
During NYBG GLOW evenings, beverages and light fare will be available at one of NYBG’s outdoor bars or the Bronx Night Market Holiday Pop-Up, and festive offerings will include artistic ice sculpting, music, and pop-up performances around the Garden to add to the seasonal atmosphere.
Cross County Shopping Center, 8000 Mall Walk, Yonkers, NY
November 20 through Christmas
Cross County Center will offer a real NYC Christmas experience right in the heart of Yonkers with the lighting of the largest holiday tree in Westchester! Standing over 40 feet tall, the tree is composed of over 20,000 LED lights (about 2 miles of strands!) that shoppers can walk-thru! The tree lighting will take place on November 20th and includes live musical and dance performances, the pop-up ice skating rink with special characters, strolling entertainers and an electronic train ride.
