4. The Child Care Council is running a Holiday Toy Drive November 1st through December 19th. Click here to shop online and have items sent directly to The Child Care Council. Or drop off a gift at the Child Care Council of Westchester office, 313 Central Park Avenue, Scarsdale, NY 10583. All collections will be donated to Toys for Tots.

5. Toys for Tots Westchester is collecting unwrapped gifts at 157 drop off locations throughout Westchester County. If you prefer to donate online, you can do so at the Toys for Tots Foundation website.

7. Have fun with the Junior League! Each local chapter is hosting a holiday fundraiser. The Junior League of Bronxville is hosting a Ladies' Night Out: Bingo & Boutique Friendraiser on November 17th. The Junior League of Central Westchester will be holding a holiday boutique November 18th in Scarsdale. The Junior League of Northern Westchester is hosting a Blitz Day on November 19th. The Junior League of Westchester-on-Hudson is hosting a Holiday Boutique December 2nd through 4th at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown. The Junior League on the Sound is holding a Raise a Glass for Cheer and Charity event on December 8th in Larchmont.

8.Lifting Up Westchester offers a variety of ways for the community to spread holiday cheer and lift the spirits of Westchester’s men, women and children in need. Holiday Lift activities will include distributing warm coats and winter clothing, providing 2,000 holiday meals from the LUW soup kitchen, filling and distributing 500 holiday food bags, and wrapping and delivering hundreds of holiday gifts. 9. Donate used American Girl Dolls to GirlAGain, a local non-profit organization dedicated to developing job skills for young women with autism. They accept donations of good condition American Girl brand (and Pleasant Company) dolls, doll clothing, furniture, accessories and books. 10. Family Services of Westchester offers different opportunities to get involved. Donate gently used children’s clothing to The Sharing Shelf, who will ensure they are given to local families in need. Big Brothers Big Sisters in Westchester accepts donations and is seeking volunteers to mentor children in one-to-one relationships.
