Head to an Italian Festival.

St. Augustine's Italian Festival runs through Sunday, July 24 from 6:00-11:00pm. Enjoy delicious Italian food, rides, fireworks, casino, games and much more.
Also this weekend is the Italian Heritage Celebration at the Kensico Dam on Sunday, 12:00-7:00pm. There will be live music, arts and crafts, delicious Italian food, rides, games and activities for kids. Vendors will have jewelry, clothing, ceramics, souvenirs and more. |
Cool down with the breeze at the beach.

Build castles at the Sand Castle Contest at Glen Island Park on Saturday 11:00am-4:00pm. Registration begins at 10 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis.

The Westmoreland Sanctuary will be performing The Wizard of Oz starting Friday and continuing through this weekend and next. Unlike typical performances, the audience will be able to interact with the cast during the show. Following each Saturday performance will be a ‘Cabaret Campfire’ open to all… and an open pit to toast marshmallows following the remaining shows. Purchase tickets in advance.
Friday night continues the Outdoor Summer Movie Series in Tuckahoe. They will be showing Finding Nemo at 8:30pm. |

On Sunday, starting at noon, head over to the Katonah Museum of Art for a fun-filled day of creativity. Think Like an Artist. Art lovers of all ages can explore the galleries and experiment with projects both indoors and outdoors. It will be an afternoon of interactive discovery through hands-on projects. Admission is free!

Summer is high season for outdoor concerts and festivals. On Friday in Rye you can check out Classic Disco Night for adults and older children or Milt Gerver's Big Band Orchestra at Rye Playland. Enjoy fireworks there as well at 9:15pm!
The 10th Annual Peekskill Jazz & Blues Festival is on Saturday from 3:00-10:00pm. It is a free outdoor concert and craft fair, attracting thousands of music enthusiasts to Peekskill’s historic Arts District, where families come to enjoy food, art, music and fun. The Friends of Trailside Museum and Ward Pound Ridge Reservation 5th Annual Firefly Festival is on Friday night at 7:30pm. Learn all about fireflies and enjoy some ice cream social.
This week at the Riverwalk Children’s Event Series is the Outragehisss Pets Animal Show. It will feature amazing animals including a caiman, a hedgehog, an armadillo, an artic fox, a 12-foot python, a Tegu, and so much more. In Yonkers Saturday at 4:00pm. Learn about animals' summer survival techniques at the Greenburgh Nature Center Summer Wildlife exhibit. See, smell and touch many of their fascinating, furry, feathered and scaly animals. Sunday at 2:00pm. On Sunday, the NY Reptile Expo comes to the Westchester County Center. Over 150 Reptile Breeders will have thousands of live pet reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids on display and for sale at discounted prices. Supplies will also be for sale. Starts at 10:00am. |

This Saturday at 9:30am at the Pleasantville Farmers' Market, play instruments and jam with the Mike Risko Music School. Ossining's Down to Earth Farmers' Market has Music at the Market with Pleasant Bud Coughlin on Saturday at 10:00am.
