National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that strengthens the relationship between the police, city and community. This helps to make our neighborhoods safer. Each year local communities across the US and beyond hold events to build neighborhood camaraderie on the first Tuesday of August.
In Westchester, 2017 events will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, in Greenburgh, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Peekskill, White Plains and Yonkers. Local police departments will be providing entertainment including music, children's activities and food. See details on our calendar for each event.
